How To…

Library Cards are free to anyone. To get a Library Card you need to come into any of our branches and bring along your ID and proof of address.

For those who wish to reserve an item using our catalog:

    1. To reserve a book go to My Account – then My Bio which will bring you to a sign in screen. Enter your last 5 digits of your library card and the password is your last 4 digits of your phone number, and then click the sign in button. From there just look up the book you would like and click on the book title, then click on reserve.

We will call you to let you know when your book is available to be picked up.

If you have any problems contact either library.

Most books in every public library in Ontario are available to our library patrons.  Through a provincially coordinated system, a patron can request a title that is not available in our library and with the assistance of our Library staff, they can borrow it from another library.  Some restrictions do apply, such as newly published books or reference material.  Lending periods for books borrowed through Interlibrary Loan are set by the lending library.  Overdue Interlibrary Loans are subject to a special fine rate, so please, watch your due dates. To search to see if you want might be available go to Ontario Library Service and then come see us to get the book for you.

To renew on-line after you have signed in under my account go to my borrowing. You can either renew all by check marking the square beside that option or you can renew individual items by clicking on the actual item.
